Eyeconic.com is the eCommerce platform for Vision Service Plans (VSP) out of Sacramento, California. The previous Eyeconic experience was static, created friction for the user, and it made it extremely challenging for users to purchase eyewear online.
With a new eCommerce leadership team in place, VSP tasked us with an ambitious experience redesign and implementation overhaul. With little to no reusable content on the old site (something we uncovered during our inventory and assessment work), we worked with VSP to understand new content objectives and approach, and helped them communicate with the brands and partners on retrieving and leveraging available content assets.
Support on this work included:
- Aforementioned inventory and assessment of the old site
- Approach and recommendation for new content
- Highly-tactical content matrix that defined the modules, elements, and owners of content that ultimately helped drive creation workflow.
