The RAM Body Builder’s Guide allows truck owners, salespeople, and mechanics alike to access custom up-fitting documents specific to RAM makes and models. Our objective with this project was to improve an old, tedious navigational experience that required a ton of clicking from the user by making it simple and fast for users to fine the right documentation they’re interested in accessing.
My responsibility was to define navigational documentation for both left and right experiences (see below). This included:
- Taking inventory and documenting all relevant PDFs on the RAM BBG site
- Defining relevant dropdown values specific to a particular PDF, and ensuring that the user flow would allow them to reach their intended destination: one specific up-fitting document.
- This documentation was then delivered to our development team, where I worked to support the build through implementation, launch, and subsequent updates to the BBG.
